Before I buy anything, I do a lot of research. I'm 5'3" and my husband is 6'3". We both went to 3 sports stores, tried about 30 different machines, and both loved this one. Disappointing - Not reliable - Expect Problems

Ordered the Auidiostrider 990 in late November 2008. Also ordered ifit cards. The elliptical trainer shipped within 2 days, but the ifit cards did not ship for 3 more weeks. As far as the exercising goes, this machine is excellent. I love it. I always use it on consecutive days along with my treadmill workout. I gives you the calorie burn workout everyone wants. The built in fan is not very powerful,you would be better off with your own fan. I am very disappointed in the poor sound quality of the speakers considering how much money this machine costs. I looked into a lot of different machine before buying this one. I am so happy with this machine. Its quiet, I love not having to wear headphones while I work out. The speakers are great. It did take a little longer to set up then what it says but even that was worth the time. Great Machine!

Assembled it and had to call in service due to factory defect

Luckily was under warranty. But basically the thing broke after an hour of use. Have since requested extended warranty as was told by the person who fixed it that he's seen others with this problem and has fixed other issues. good machine the only problem I have had is the resistance does not change, so it is constantly on low. It may be something I did wrong when I put it together I just have not figured it out yet. Other than that good quality and easy to use.

I am really enjoying the Elliptical. Since December, I've been using it at least 3 times a week and have been losing weight and getting healthier! I would recommend this Elliptical. It was very easy to put together as well.

I had some problems initially with how the machine was put together by the technician who came to my house. I paid extra so I would not have to put it together. Very versatile machine

I had to hire a professional to put it together, but it works well and is achieving the desired results. The pulse (heart-rate) feature is a bit iffy. Other than that, I have no complaints and am actually very glad I purchased it.

Overall this is an OK machine for the money. My wife & didn't like the foot pads because they really bothered our feet, so I removed them which has made it easier to use, however there are a lot of squeaks whcih I could not get rid of with grease or tightening screws.
