Comments: .....My wife purchased my 290 spx spinner bike for xmas. I am well over 6-ft tall and needed a beginner bike to get a good cardio workout when I can't run outside. Being a marathon runner I'm used to enduring difficult situations, but at first I thought this would be a tough love relationship with this bike. After a few modifications I'm really enjoying this bike, though I had to switch the pedals because my dog ate the velco straps. Now I ride in cycling shoes. What a difference from toe clips! Next, I added a padded gel seat (heavenly!). Finally, I purchased a Cateye cycling computer to track time, cadence, distance traveled, etc. I now find that I'm on it every other day. Good bike for the price, but the seat that comes with it will put calluses in a very sensitive place. Enjoy the ride.
