Another study proves to show the same kind of results. Indiana University psychologist, Lile Jia, conducted a study that viewed two groups of participants. One group of Indiana University students were told that the task at hand was to create a list of as many methods of transportation as they could think of for students who were studying abroad in Greece and the other group of students were assigned to create a separate list of transportation methods for those living locally in Indiana.
Results came to be in favor of the students who listed one-third more methods of transportation in Greece in comparison to the other group that were collectively listing transportation methods for local students. It is said that this study challenged the students to think more creatively and more originality for foreign transportation methods, as well as showed improvement in their problem solving skills as well.
