Next, the researchers provided a DVD video of exercises to help the participants learn choreography that featured a blend of aerobic movements and strength moves, so they can get familiar.
The results of the study showed they burned approximately 9.8 calories per minute during a typical bootcamp workout. This works out to 588 calories burned in a 60-minute workout session. Note, results can vary depending on age and physical activity.

At the end of training, the researchers repeated the psychological tests and the 12-minute walk/run tests.
